FS Curtis Refrigerated Air Dryers

The ambient air produced by any compressor will always contains water vapour, which can condense in airlines and cause problems with pneumatic equipment and the tools. Refrigerated dryers will remove the moisture and provide dry air to your equipment, machinery or tools. You can also fit coalescing filters to remove all traces of oil if you require oil free air.

Take care to use the correct selection criteria when you size a dryer ( or contact us for advice) as an under sized dryer will work great in winter but perform poorly in summer when the relative humidity increases. With dryers bigger is better!

CNC & CND Series

Standard equipment includes:
  • Lighted Compressor On/Off Switch
  • At-a-glance dew point performance
  • Environmentally friendly refrigerant
  • Reciprocating compressors
  • Oversized condensers for ambient up to 122°F
  • Automatic level sensing float drains
  • 115 volt operation and rounded 6 foot power cord (CNC5 ~ CNC125)

CR Series Refrigerated Dryers

CR Series has a high system reliability:
  • 38°F pressure dew point removes troublesome moisture to extend equipment life
  • Fully automatic operation saves money by adjusting to system needs without complicated controls
  • High efficiency tube on tube heat exchangers minimise power usage
  • Moisture separator with non-clogging condensate drain automatically removes moisture.
Standard features include:
  • Lighted on-off switch
  • Dew point indicator on models CR25-CR500
  • Non clogging float drain on model CR10
  • Non clogging timer drain on models CR15-CR500
  • Environmentally friendly R-134a refrigeration system
  • CFC-free
  • Reheated outlet air eliminates cold sweaty piping

CDR Series

CDR Series Dryers provide an extremely consistent level of drying over a wide range of operating conditions. Downstream air lines and pneumatic equipment are kept free of troublesome liquid water allowing for extended component service life and increased productivity.

Performance through design Saturated inlet air enters air to air heat exchanger and is precooled by outgoing chilled air, which is simultaneously reheated as it leaves the dryer. Inlet air is further cooled by the refrigeration system. As the air is cooled, water vapor condenses into liquid droplets. This liquid along with particles down to 3 micron are removed by the separator. Condensation is then discharged from the dryer by a zero air loss automatic drain.

FSCURTIS CDR Series models CDR 200 and larger include an Energy Management Control Panel.
